On Tuesday, the Federal Reserve Board published the minutes from its latest meetings, which were held to assess and establish the discount rates available to depository institutions via the discount window. The minutes released today pertain to the Board meetings that took place on May 19, June 9, and June 18, 2025.

The methodology employed by the Board to determine the discount rate is separate from the approach utilized by the Federal Open Market Committee in establishing the target range for the federal funds rate.
